Malissa has been in the insurance industry since 1999. She started in personal lines and then progressed to commercial lines in 2003. Having worked in both personal and commercial insurance, Malissa is well versed and knowledgeable in the insurance industry. She is an honest and reliable person with a strong work ethic. She takes time with clients to explain coverages and to review their business needs to ensure that her clients understand what they are purchasing and are receiving the coverage they need.

Malissa was raised in the small town of Chinook Montana and graduated from Montana State University in Bozeman. She earned her Bachelors degree in Health & Human Development with a Family Science Option. To enhance her insurance education, Malissa completed a five course series of seminars and tests and was awarded a CISR designation from the Society of Certified Insurance Service Representatives. This certification is another successful step in her professional education and development.

In 2006 and 2007, Malissa was announced the Special Accounts Unit Producer of the Year for her sales achievements in her division. She believes a good insurance agent needs to have dedication, enthusiasm, professionalism and leadership skills and she tries to instill these qualities in her daily business transactions.
