Shaun began his career in 1988 with Principal Financial Group marketing individual life, disability, and long-term care insurance. In 1992, he also became a registered representative with the National Association of Securities Dealers and added marketing investments for both corporate retirement plans and individuals to his practice.

After joining Western States Insurance in 1998, he focused his practice on business uses for insurance products. By offering a variety of group medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plan options as well as employee benefits consulting, Shaun is able to help employers balance their bottom line with employee’s needs for benefits. Having taught advanced business planning courses through the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, Shaun is able to use proven strategies that implement insurance and investment products to fund buy/sell agreements, deferred compensation plans, key person coverage, along with estate planning to help corporate clients and their executives set and achieve their financial goals.

Shaun was raised in Columbia Falls, Montana and graduated from The University of Montana in 1987 with a degree in business administration and a minor in economics. He currently holds the LUTCF designation and is the past president of the Western Montana Chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
