Tom has over thirty years experience working within the insurance industry. He began in 1975 after graduating from Montana State University in 1973, and has been an agent in Dillon and the southwest Montana area ever since.

Raised on a cattle and hay ranch in Camas Prairie, Montana, Tom is familiar with the needs and concerns of ranch and farm owners when it comes to insuring their property, their equipment, and their business. Besides providing commercial insurance for farms and ranches, Tom works with many other businesses within Montana and is also licensed in Idaho, North Dakota, South Dakota, Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arizona and Nebraska. Despite his years of experience, Tom is always trying to learn more about insurance so he can share that information with his clients. He frequently puts together insurance packages for various associations and their members, and works side by side with the underwriters. Tom is honest, dedicated to his clients, and will see any claim all the way through.

In 2003, he won the Marv Horner award with Western States Insurance. He also was the President of Professional Insurance Agents of Montana for the 2007-2008 year and won the Agent of the Year award within the Professional Insurance Agents of Montana organization in 2007.
